Union Square
The living heart of Oradea's old town
Piața Unirii
Once called Piața Mică, the Small Square, Piața Unirii grew up in the 18th century as the centre of the new town. After a major rehabilitation in 2015, it gathers the Moon Church, the Church of Saint Ladislaus, the City Hall and the Black Eagle Palace in one pedestrian space that hosts the city's festivals and its Christmas market.
- Built: c. 1714–1740
